Mitchells celebrated first novel won the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize.
Written episodically, the novel follows a different central character in each chapter, with their lives interlinked through seemingly coincidental events.
A number of characters mentioned in the work appear in Mitchells later novels, including Utopia Avenue, Cloud Atlas, and The Bone Clocks.
CONDITION
In the publishers original paper wraps. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Flat signed to the title page. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
