A collection of essays on various important British families and any changes to their circumstances in terms of fortune and wealth. With titles including: the rise and fall of the Cromwells, the Royal Stuarts, the House of Albany, the fall of Conyers, MacCarthy, landless Lords and Barons, peerage titles, the rise of the Strutts of Belper, and self reliance, amongst other topics.
Each essay provides important information on the history of these important families, with historically documented details of their key family members and their circumstances.
