This is a hard to find doll and she is in great condition. She was lovingly and wonderfully cared for. I can find no flaws other than some very light rubs on her cheeks. I wasn't sure that her dress was original to her age, but all of the clothing underneath is and it's very unique To that time and well-made. The dress and all the under clothing are hand made and stitched. The dress is a silky crêpe like fabric with pinkish, reddish, floral designs. She is clearly marked on the back of her neck with original antique markings. Her under clothing is made from lightweight cotton, poplin, all handstitched and very well-made. The pantaloons button to the Chemise, and also button at the sides. They chemise buttons in the back, and the buttons are original old Glass doll buttons. This chemise has a handsewn dart in the front, and the slip has tiny snaps at the shoulders. Her body is in very good condition. The only flaws I saw was some yellowing spots from aging Mostly on arms. The dress sleeves were pinned to the arm body, I believe to hold them up where they wanted them with tiny brass safety pins. I have removed them as they will cause discoloration and rusting and I needed to do it to take the pictures. The only thing that she lacks is a pair of antique shoes, and I will leave that for the new owner to have the fun of finding. She has a delightful and whimsical smile, on her Hand painted face. It's hard to find an Antique doll in this kind of condition; she has no rips, tears holes or shredding And neither does the clothing. She, indeed was well cared for.
