We pack all DVDs with great care.  We want them to arrive in the same condition we would want to receive them.  We pack everything so it is well protected.  For a single DVD shipped media mail we take extra precaution.   The major concern is making sure the DVD case is not bent or dented during shipping.   We use foam density board for protection. We pack the DVD between them for extra rigidity and dent protection to adequately protect them from the rigors of shipping.  The cost of a single board is  $1.00.  So, we are adding a $0.50 handling cost.   The entire cost goes into making sure your DVD arrives as safely as possible.
