Joan Rivers was not only a talented smart comedienne she also had an extensive knowledge of the history of jewelry and she created pieces based on her own collection and research. Her attention to and care for detail was amazing.

This is a 28" long necklace with lobster claw clasp that will allow you to clasp to make it shorter.

There is a center fixed locket 1" wide that has the inscription "The Victorian Language of Flowers" and can hold a picture or keepsake

There are usually 10 removeable charms but I must have received two Victorian Nosegay charms which reverse to an engraved angel beneath guilloche enameling so a total of 11 charms that you can remove and wear on a bracelet or another necklace. These are spaced by small flowers either enamel or with stone center.

I wish had the image space to show the front and back detail of each charm-each is dimensional with beautiful detailing

Each charm has a "story" included with the collectible enclosure which is so much fun to read.

The necklace is housed in a pretty painted wood keepsake box with an aged look and velvet lined sections for the charms or other pins earrings...

This necklace has never been officiel worn

The keepsake box has a mark on the bottom and a small mark on the inside cover from storage.
