Childermass is set in a purgatorial afterlife, following two young Englishmen, who are presumably killed during World War One.


CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light discolouration to the extremities. Spine is a little discoloured with some spots. Spots to the fore edge and endpapers. Booksellers label to the front paste down. Authors compliments slip tipped-in to the recto of the front free endpaper. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn. Spots to the dust wrapper. Spine is a little age-toned and rubbed. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
