SUMMARY:

A stunning nickel-cased pocket watch by the famous watch-maker, Record of Switzerland, with a 15 jeweled hi-grade movement. This is a beautifully made key-less-wound pocket watch, made in ca. 195, and the case, with screw on front an drear covers, a water proof and hermetically sealed case.

The watch recently serviced and overhauled by my watch maker, keeps very good time, and watch comes with a two year mechanical warranty.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the enamel dial with with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips and luminesced hour dots. The dial with blued steel hands. The diameter is 42 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a 3/4 plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate and gold plated wheels, with 15 jewels and two adjustments. The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping reasonable time for a 100 year old watch. The movement a standard Record 23 calibre, dating from 1915. further with aserial number of 223,252

THE CASE: 100% mint, the nickel case measures an impressive 49 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly. The case fully marked with Keystone Watch Company mark and case number of 91891624, and marked Silveroid. The rear cover in fine condition. The watch comes with a new presentation box to store the watch when not in use.
