This vibrant cotton Amish Roman stripe quilt is all treadle machine pieced and hand quilted, with a deep black background. The quilt was likely made in the 1970s.

It measures 43" X 49" and isexcellent condition, with some light staining on the back and no wear.

There is quilting around the piecework and in a fan design in the background, all at 7-8 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is black, and the batting is thin. A sleeve has been sewn on the back, making this suitable for use as a wall hanging.
