Old Baccarat Vase Diamant Pierre Wine Red Decoration
This is a miniature vase (flower container/flower base/trinket box) with a rare, high-end reddish-purple overlay decoration made from sculpted decorative crystal called "Diamant Pierie," known as a famous crystal model series from the Art Nouveau period around the 1890s, by Old Baccarat, the pinnacle of French crystal.

The Diamant officiel is of high quality with the heavy feel that is typical of Baccarat, and its beautiful, flowing design and splendor have not faded even after more than 100 years, giving it a unique presence.

It is decorated with a magenta-red decoration, which is the highest level of Baccarat, and when light passes through it, it emits a brilliant light like a diamond, making it a striking piece.

The bottom features deep radial cuts that are characteristic of Baccarat.

This piece was made before 1936, so it does not have the Baccarat stamp.

Miniatures are extremely rare.
